The jury of experts at this year's INKA award ceremony at the TANNER "Think Tank" was impressed: Verallia Germany's online product catalog, designed and developed by DAM Group, finished an excellent 7th place among approximately 100 submissions.
The iPhone catalog app - realized in collaboration with our partner Socialbit - inspired and impressed so much that INKA plans to include "Mobile" in addition to the "Print" and "Online" categories in the future. More information is available at Saint-Gobain Oberland AG / News.

The year 2012 begins with exciting news – not that the world is ending, but that we have introduced the new mediacockpit Ribbon for Office 2007/2010! The new plugin complements the range of existing modules with one that has been a frequent customer request in recent months.

Users of Word, PowerPoint and co. can now access their assets in mediacockpit directly without leaving the MS Office suite. This simplifies the day-to-day work in the creation of presentations and other documents.

The Add-On integrated directly in the application's navigation bar - the new "mediacockpit" ribbon provides you with all important functions:

Direct login possible
Full-text and attribute searches, category navigation, access to media selections
Drag- and -drop of images directly in the document
Multimedia (audio/video) integration with the "insert" button
Downloading and local media storage
Access in accordance with the roles and rights assignments in the system

There are so many exciting projects in the catalog / publishing environment with DAM Group - in the near future we will present one of them in a new success story! DAM Group Relaunch: moving foward and looking back

For nearly 8 years, our homepage had remained fairly static; the time is ripe for change. Two months ago, we relaunched the DAM Group homepage in German. The focus is on our new platform product "mediacockpit". We have already recieved much positive feedback - customers and partners alike are finding interesting insights into our new integration platform and are profiting from our experiences with the daily challenges in media asset and product data management. Now the entire site is available in English as well. We are looking forward to even more feedback from our customers and friends the world over.

And today we celebrate another anniversary of sorts: the following article (only in German, sorry!) about media asset management and highlighting our product "Media Suite" at Mercedes-Benz Accessories was published on 02. November 2001. That is 10 years ago today! At that time, we were a small startup and media asset management was an emerging field. Today, we are older and wiser: we have focused on our strengths and remain an industry leader today.
